Colin Farrell and Taylor Kitsch for True Detective Season Two?
Colin Farrell and Taylor Kitsch are reportedly in line to star in the second season of True Detective, according to reports.
The Wrap reports that both Farrell and Kitsch are close to being offered roles in the new series, with Tron: Legacy star Garrett Headlund also in the running for a role.
An HBO spokesman would not be drawn on the reports, but it is thought that a casting announcement is expected this week.
The Wrap also reports that despite creator Nic Pizzolatto's statement that there will be four leads in the new season, there will in fact be three leads, with the character set to be played by Farrell serving as the show's star.
It has previously been confirmed that the show will be set in California and will begin filming later this year.
Season One of True Detective is available on DVD and Blu-Ray in hmv stores across the UK now.
