Daniel Radcliffe joins cast for offbeat comedy Swiss Army Man

Daniel Radcliffe is set to become the latest addition to the cast of a bizarre new indie comedy directed by the duo behind the music video for DJ Snake and Lil Jon’s ‘Turn Down For What?’

Swiss Army Man is directed by the Daniels - a.k.a. Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert - and will star Radcliffe alongside Paul Dano and Elizabeth Winstead, both of whom are already attached to the project, with the film set to move into production after gaining funding from Miranda Bailey’s Cold Iron Pictures.

The film, launched at the Sundance Festival’s Screenwriters’ Lab, features a plot which revolves around a man stranded in the wilderness who befriends a dead body, before the two go on an adventure together.

The Daniels already have a number of short films under their belts, as well as a list of music video credits that includes Chromeo, Battles and Manchester Orchestra.
