Director Doug Liman departs Justice League Dark

Edge Of Tomorrow director Doug Liman has quit Dark Universe, the new blockbuster adaptation of DC comic's Justice League Dark.

Liman becomes the second director to depart the project. He had previously stepped in to replace Guillermo Del Toro.

The story for Dark Universe revolves around a dark Justice League team that consists of John Constantine, Swamp Thing, Deadman, Zatanna and Etrigan the Demon.

Liman has departed the project to take charge of Chaos Walking, a new adaptation of Patrick Ness's novel, which has Daisy Ridley and Tom Holland attached to star.

Development on Justice League Dark continues with writer Michael Gilio currently working on the script.
