First teaser released for Ron Howard's documentary The Beatles: Eight Days A Week

Of all the bands from the 20th century, none have been quite so well-documented as The Beatles, but now acclaimed director Ron Howard is gearing up for another take on the lives and careers of Liverpool's most famous sons.

Entitled The Beatles: Eight Days A Week, Howard's documentary stands apart by focussing on the band's early years, in particular their hectic and chaotic life on the road before finally giving up touring for good in 1966 to focus on their seminal studio album Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band.

Using a mixture of archival footage and new interviews with the band's surviving members Ringo Starr and Paul McCartney, Howard's film aims to tell the inside story of life on road for the world's most popular group and now the first teaser trailer for his upcoming documentary has surfaced online. 

The movie will be released into cinemas on September 15th and you can check out the teaser trailer below:
