Gripping third trailer for Jake Gyllenhaal's boxing drama Southpaw unveiled

A powerful third trailer for boxing drama Southpaw, which stars Jake Gyllenhaal as fighter Billy Hope, has been unveiled. Scroll down and click to watch it.

Southpaw tells the story of boxer Hope, a successful fighter who loses everything after a brawl goes wrong. Subsequently, he is banned from the sport and has his daughter taken from him by children's services. He is then forced to fight his way back to the ring and to win his daughter's trust again.

The film is directed by The Equalizer's Antoine Fuqua and has a script from Sons Of Anarchy creator Kurt Sutter. Starring alongside Gyllenhaal are Rachel McAdams, Naomie Harris, Forest Whitaker, Victor Ortiz, Rita Ora, Tyrese Gibson and Miguel Gomez.

The film's third trailer shows much more of Gyllenhaal in the ring than the previous two previews and also features a snippet of 'Kings Never Die', a brand new track Eminem has contributed to the soundtrack, which also features vocals from Gwen Stefani.

Southpaw is due for release on July 24th in both the US and the UK.
