Hear 'The Last Goodbye', Billy Boyd's song for the closing credits of The Hobbit: The Battle Of The Five Armies

'The Last Goodbye', Lord Of The Rings' star Billy Boyd's track written for the closing credits of The Hobbit: The Battle Of The Five Armies, has been unveiled. Scroll down and click to listen to it.

Boyd, who also sang on a track named 'The Edge Of Night' over the closing credits of The Return Of The King, has written the track, in collaboration with Philippa Boyens and Fran Walsh, the film's writers.

Boyd joins Crowded House frontman Neil Finn and Ed Sheeran in supplying a song for the end credits of The Hobbit.

Finn contributed a song named 'Song Of The Lonely Mountain' for the closing credits of The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, while Sheeran's track 'I See Fire' was played over the end credits of The Hobbit: The Desolation Of Smaug.

The Hobbit: The Battles Of The Five Armies will be released into cinemas on December 12th this year and will come out on DVD in 2015. You can watch the trailer for the film here.
