hmv.com presents… 70 Films to get you excited for 2016! #3 Fantasy & Action

2015 has been an incredible year for movies, we've had stomping blockbusters like Jurassic World, Furious 7 and Avengers: Age Of Ultron, brilliant dramas like Ex Machina and Sicario, hilarious comedies like Spy and Ted 2 and so much more besides. But there's only a few days left of this year and it's time to move on to next year.

So, in that spirit, over the next seven days we'll be previewing 70 of the movies you can look forward to next year. Today it's time for fantasy and action adventures...

Deadpool

What Is It?

The smuttiest and most violent X-Men spin-off you could possibly imagine, with Ryan Reynolds starring.

Any plot details?

Deadpool is Wade Wilson, a former special forces operative who has just been diagnosed with terminal cancer, in desperation he agrees to be subjected to an experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers, horribly disfigured skin and an unstable mind. Now both blessed with incredible abilities and cursed with irreversible damage to his body, he sets out to find the man who did this to him. There will be violence along the way, lots of it.

Who’s In It?

Reynolds leads the way and is joined by Homeland’s Morena Baccarin, the new Transporter Ed Skrein as well as T. J. Miller, Gina Carano, Brianna Hildebrand, Andre Tricoteux, and Leslie Uggams
