Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice

(In Cinemas March 25th)

Ben Affleck makes his debut as The Dark Knight as he faces off against Henry Cavill's Man Of Steel in Zac Synder's new blockbuster. Initially the pair are at odds, with Batman vowing to take down a Superman with his power unchecked, but soon enough the pair are forced to set aside their differences to stop enemies Lex Luthor and Doomsday from destroying everything. 

 

Hail, Caesar!

(In Cinemas March 4th)

The Coens' new movie is an acerbic take on one of the golden ages of the big movie studio system and follows private detective turned fixer Eddie Mannix, who is recruited to find star Baird Whitlock when he mysteriously disappears. Josh Brolin leads an all-star cast that also includes Scarlett Johansson, George Clooney Channing Tatum, Ralph Fiennes, Jonah Hill, Tilda Swinton and Frances McDormand. 

 

The Witch

(In Cinemas March 11th)

This chilling horror story has taken the festival circuit by storm and will sends chills right down your spine. The story follows a family in 1630s New England, a family which quickly becomes torn apart by the forces of witchcraft, black magic and possession.

 

London Has Fallen

(In Cinemas March 3rd)

Gerard Butler, Aaron Eckhart and Morgan Freeman return for this action sequel, which takes the action from Washington to the UK capital. 

 

High-Rise

(In Cinemas March 18th)

Based on J. G. Ballard's 1975 novel of the same name and is directed by Ben Wheatley, this chilling adaptation stars Tom Hiddleston as Robert Laing, a young doctor who takes a flat in a luxury tower block in West London and soon finds that he is sucked in to the building's strange social dynamics. Starring alongside Hiddleston are Luke Evans, Sienna Miller, Elisabeth Moss, Jeremy Irons, James Purefoy, Keeley Hawes and Reece Shearsmith. 

 

Divergent Series: Allegiant

(In Cinemas March 11th)

The first part of the final instalment of the Divergent series hits the big screen this month. 

 

10 Cloverfield Lane

(In Cinemas March 18th)

A companion to much-loved sci-fi movie Cloverfield hits the big screen this month, with The Big Lebowski mainman John Goodman as well as Scott Pilgrim Vs The World's Mary Elizabeth Winstead and The Newsroom's John Gallagher Jnr starring.  

 

Speed Sisters

This much-acclaimed documentary about the first all-women race car driving team in the Middle East gets a release next month. 

 

Anomalisa

(In Cinemas March 11th)

Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless writer Charlie Kaufman scripts and directs this stop-motion animation about a lonely self-help author who perceives everyone to be exactly the same until he meets a very unique woman. David Thelwis and Jennifer Jason Leigh lend their voices.

 

Zootropolis

(In Cinemas March 25th)

Jason Bateman, Ginnifer Goodwin, Kristen Bell, J. K. Simmons, Idris Elba and Octavia Spencer voice this Disney family animation set inside a city entirely populated by animals where a fast-talking fox must team up with a self-righteous rabbit after the two are caught up in a strange criminal conspiracy.
