Idris Elba and Tom Hiddleston to appear in Avengers: Age Of Ultron
Idris Elba has revealed that he and Thor co-star Tom Hiddleston are both set to appear in Avengers: Age Of Ultron.
Speaking to the Daily Telegraph in an interview that ran over the weekend, Elba said that he interrupted his summer DJ residency in Ibiza to return to the UK to film a scene.
He said: "I'm in Avengers. And I’m doing a scene with Chris Hemsworth [Thor] and Tom Hiddleston [Loki], and they're like, [whispers] – 'Aren’t you [meant to be] in Ibiza?'".
Last week, Marvel Studios confirmed that the third film in the Avengers series will be split into two parts.
The films, which will be titled Avengers: Inifinity War Part I and Avengers: Inifinity War Part II, will be released in 2018 and 2019.
The first of the two will hit cinemas on May 4th 2018 and the second on May 3rd 2019.
Avengers: Age Of Ultron is due to be released into UK cinemas on April 24th next year, with the US release coming a week later.
Robert Downey Jr, Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Samuel L Jackson and Cobie Smulders will all reprise their roles in the sequel, while newcomers Elizabeth Olsen and Aaron Taylor-Johnson join the cast.
