James Corden and Rose Byrne to lead Peter Rabbit remake

James Corden and Rose Byrne are in talks to lead a new adaptation of Beatrix Potter's Peter Rabbit.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Sony are planning a new live-action/CG hybrid adaptation of the children’s tale written by Beatrix Potter.

The movie, which is to be directed by Annie director Will Gluck, will see Corden voice Peter Rabbit, while Byrne would take one of the live-action roles.

Peter Rabbit tells the story of the mischievous Peter is chased about the garden of cranky garderner Mr McGregor.

Corden will next be seen on the big screen lending his voice to big budget animation Trolls, while Byrne was most recently on screen in X-Men: Apocalypse.
