Man arrested for 'throwing a chair' on set of Woody Allen's new film

A man has been arrested after allegedly throwing furniture and assualting security guards on the set of Woody Allen's latest movie, currently being filmed on location in Providence, Rhode Island.

Security guards told local news station WPRI-TV that a man had approached the set and was asking "weird questions" about the actors in the production, who include Joaquin Phoenix and Emma Stone, before becoming irate, getting into an altercation and launching a chair towards the guards on set.

Police have identified the man as Mark Spiridakos, who has reportedly been taken to hospital with a head injury after he was tackled by security. It is not believed any of the cast or the director were hurt during the incident.
