New James Bond film to begin shooting on December 6

Sam Mendes is due to begin filming the 24th James Bond film later this year on December 6th. The upcoming film still has no confirmed title, although rumours reported in The Sun several weeks ago suggested the film may be based on the Sebastian Faulkes novel Devil May Care.

The 24th instalment in the Bond franchise has been the subject of a number of rumours over recent months, but the cast that has been confirmed so far includes Daniel Craig as 007 alongside Naomie Harris as Eve Moneypenny, while Ben Whishaw will reprise his role as Q and Ralph Fiennes will pick up his role where Skyfall left off, as the successor to Judi Dench's M.

Chiwetel Ejiofor and Eva Mendes are among other actors rumoured to be in the frame for a part in the new film.
