Peyton Reed set to direct Ant-Man sequel Ant-Man and the Wasp
Peyton Reed is set to return to direct Ant-Man sequel Ant-Man and the Wasp.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, Reed, who has directed the likes of Yes Man and Down With Love in the past, stepped in to replace Edgar Wright after he departed the project weeks before shooting and now looks set to be given charge of the sequel.
The sequel to Ant-Man was announced last week and will see Paul Rudd's Scott Lang and Evangeline Lily's Hope Van Dyne team up for a new adventure that will hit cinemas on July 6th in 2018.
As well as this two of Marvel's other future projects have moved release dates. Black Panther has moved forward to February 2018, but Captain Marvel has been delayed from November 2018 to March in 2019.
The studio has also confirmed that three untitled Marvel Studios films be released in 2020, with the studio pencilling release dates of May 1st, July 10th and November 6th.
Ant-Man is released on DVD on November 30th and is availabe to pre-order on the right-hand side of the page.
