Running time for Transformers: The Last Knight unveiled

The running time for Transformers: The Last Knight has been unveiled and it's another epic watch.

In this movie, we watch a battle for survival between the human race and the Transformers, with hero Cade Yeager forming an alliance with Bumblebee, an English lord and an Oxford professor to learn why the Transformers keep coming back to Earth.

Michael Bay returns to direct the movie, with Akiva Goldsman supplying the script. Bay has previously said that this will be the last Transformers movie he directs.

The new film is 149 minutes long, shorter than previous effort Age Of Extinction, which clocked in at 165 minutes. It is the second shorter in the franchise thus far, with only the first movie possessing a skinnier running time.

The movie is the follow-up to 2014's Transformers: Age Of Extinction and will see Mark Wahlberg return to reprise his starring role as Yeager.  Starring alongside him are Stanley Tucci, Isabela Moner, Tyrese Gibson, John Turturro, Santiago Cabrera, Liam Garrigan, Jerrod Carmichael, Mitch Pileggi, Laura Haddock and Anthony Hopkins.

It will hit UK cinemas on June 22nd in 2017.
