Seth Rogen to produce movie based on Where's Wally? books

Seth Rogen and his producing partner Evan Goldberg look set to produce a new movie based on the classic children's books Where's Wally?

The books, which are known as Where's Waldo in the US and Canada, have long been in development for a movie adaptation, but now will move forward with Rogen and Goldberg.

According to the Tracking Board, Rogen and Goldberg, who are currently just involved as producers, will work from a script by Kyle Hunter and Ariel Shaffir and are on the lookout for a director and star.

The Where's Wally? books were created by illustrator Martin Handford and have also inspired a TV show, comic strip and a series of video games.

Rogen will next be seen in the much-anticipated sequel to Bad Neighbours, a movie which he has produced and co-written with Goldberg.
