This is a film documenting the life of Riot Grrrl mainstay and alternative rock icon Kathleen Hanna and her triumphs and struggles with the music industry and her private life.

As the leader of Bikini Kill, Hanna found herself as the figurehead of the Riot Grrrl movement and as a feminist icon who inspired both bands and fans and the film is packed with great footage and interviews of Bikini Kill as well as her later bands, the more electronic Le Tigre and her latest project The Julie Ruin.

From her early life to starting Bikini Kill, and covering her exit from music to her inspiring return, this is a highly recommended film about one of the most interesting icons of recent times.
