"It was unlike any script I had ever read before..." hmv.com talks to The Accountant director Gavin O'Connor and Cynthia Addai-Robinson

A movie with a title like The Accountant might not be the most obvious choice if you're looking for a fast-paced thriller to keep you on the edge of your seat, but Gavin O'Connor's new film manages to do exactly that. Ben Affleck stars as Christian Wolff, an autistic man with some remarkable skills when it comes to maths, but rather than pursue a career in a regular office with a reputable accounting firm, Wolff has carved out a lucrative niche for himself by handling the books for some of the world's most dangerous people.

Terrorists, arms dealers, drug kingpins and even corrupt governments are all on Wolff's list of clients, but he's evaded the long arm of the law up until now when a tenacious agent working for the U.S. Treasury, Marybeth Medina (played by Cynthia Addai-Robinson) discovers information that could lead to his capture.

The film's cast includes J.K. Simmons, Anna Kendrick, John Lithgow and Jeffrey Tambor, and with the movie now on DVD shelves and available to purchase on the right-hand side of the page, we sat down with Cynthia and director Gavin O'Connor to talk about working on the film.
