The Crow reboot to finally shoot in January, Aquaman's Jason Momoa to star
The remake of cult action classic The Crow will finally get underway in January, with Aquaman star Jason Momoa leading the way.
The remake has been in development for over a decade, but according to The Wrap, production will finally begin in January.
Hardy, who is best known for directing music videos for the likes of Biffy Clyro, Ed Sheeran and The Prodigy, as well as acclaimed animated short film Butterfly, will direct the remake. You can see him sealing the deal to star in the remake with Momoa below:
The Crow tells the story of Eric Draven, a rock musician who is revived from the dead to avenge his murder and that of his fiancée.
Luke Evans and Jack Huston were among the actors who had previously been cast in the leading role in the remake, which originally starred Brandon Lee.
The original entered film notoriety when Lee was accidentally killed during filming. The actor was mortally wounded after being shot in the back during a stunt that went horribly wrong.
