Watch Ben Foster as Lance Armstrong in the chilling first trailer for The Program

The first trailer for The Program, the new biopic of disgraced cyclist Lance Armstrong, which stars Lone Survivor's Ben Foster, is now online. Scroll down and click to watch it.

The movie also stars The IT Crowd's Chris O'Dowd as David Walsh, the Sunday Times journalist who pursued Armstrong throughout his successful years and ultimately played a key role in his fall from grace.

Directed by Stephen Frears, the movie will track Armstrong's journey through his seven consecutive Tour de France wins from 1999 to 2005 and how he managed to keep his use of performance enhancing drugs away from cycling authorities throughout that time.

As well as Foster and O'Dowd, the movie also stars Dustin Hoffman, Breaking Bad's Jesse Plemons, The Hobbit's Lee Pace and Tell No One's Guillaume Canet. It is due for release at the end of this year, with a full release date for UK cinemas yet to be confirmed.
