Watch the new trailer for Ron Howard's The Beatles: Eight Days A Week – The Touring Years movie

A brand new trailer for Ron Howard's new documentary The Beatles: Eight Days A Week – The Touring Years has been unveiled, click below to watch it.

Entitled The Beatles: Eight Days A Week, Howard's documentary stands apart by focussing on the band's early years, in particular their hectic and chaotic life on the road before finally giving up touring for good in 1966 to focus on their seminal studio album Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band.

Using a mixture of archival footage and new interviews with the band's surviving members Ringo Starr and Paul McCartney, Howard's film aims to tell the inside story of life on road for the world's most popular group.

The new trailer focuses on the band's 1965 performance at Shea Stadium, which was the first rock concert ever staged in a stadium in front of more than 55,000 people. As part of the movie, a fully restored, remastered, 30-minute performance from Shea Stadium will be included.

The movie will be released into cinemas for a single night on September 15th and will be released on DVD in the weeks following.
