X-Files Season 11 Teaser premieres at NY Comic Con

This weekend saw the arrival of the annual New York Comic Con and amongst the cosplayers, panels and other happenings at this year's convention there were a few new unveilings too.

One of these came in the form of a brand new teaser for the upcoming 11th season of The X-Files, the supernatural TV series created by Chris Carter that made a comeback in 2016 after an absence of almost 15 years.

While the eight-episode 'event series' that was Season 10 saw David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson return to reprise their iconic roles as FBI agents Fox Mulder and Dana Scully, the series received a somewhat mixed reception from fans and critics. Carter is setting out to rectify that with Season 11, which will once again see Mulder and Scully reunite, and this time not only is it apparent that alien life is within reach, it also presents a danger to the entire human race.

No air date for the new season has been confirmed as yet, although Season 11 is expected to arrive on TV screens at some point in 2018. In the meantime you can check out the brand new teaser below...
