It has been almost 12 years since the last time we saw a film from the xXx franchise, and 13 years since the series' original star, Vin Diesel, first took on the role of daredevil secret agent Xander Cage.
But that's all about to change. A third film, xXx: Return of Xander Cage, arrives in UK cinemas today and as the title suggests, Vin Diesel is back reprising his role from the first film alongside a cast that includes Donnie Yen, Samuel K. Jackson, Nina Dobrev, Ruby Rose, Tony Jaa and Hermione Corfield, as well as UFC's reigning Middleweight Champion Michael Bisping and Barcelona's Brazilian star Neymar.
DJ Caruso, the man behind the camera for films like Disturbia and I Am Number Four, is in the director's chair for what promises to be a high-octane action adventure and ahead of its release we sat down with the director and cast to talk about working on the new film and bringing Xander Cage back from the dead.
