Adele, Muse, The 1975 feel huge sales boosts after Glastonbury performances
Adele, Foals, The 1975 and Muse all look set to shoot up the charts after their performances at Glastonbury over the weekend.
According to Official Charts, Adele's monster hit 25 looks set to return to the top of the pile on Friday (July 1st) after her headline appearance at the festival on Saturday night (June 25th), with a sales increase of 176% from last week and a rise of 13 places. Her second album 21 also looks set to rise to the Number Nine spot, up from 67, with her debut 19 set to take the Number 13 spot.
Muse, who headlined on Friday night (June 24th), also look set for a bumper week with their new album Drones rising 164 places to Number 15, while Foals' What Went Down is up 149 spots to Number 19 and The 1975's I Like It When You Sleep... looks set to rise 20 places to Number 25.
The Last Shadow Puppets, Coldplay, Jeff Lynne's ELO and Catfish and the Bottlemen are all expected to enjoy similar spikes in sales this week too.
