Ben Haenow reveals he has parted ways with Simon Cowell's SyCo label
Ben Haenow has revealed that he has left Simon Cowell's Syco record label.
The singer, who won The X-Factor in 2014, told fans last night (January 28th) that he has now left the label.
He wrote: "I wanted to let you all know directly from me, that after what has been the most incredible experience working on my debut album, myself and Syco entertainment have decided to part ways."
He continued: "Working with The X Factor and Syco has been the most amazing time of my life and has given me the best possible platform for the start of my career. I have the upmost respect for them both and cannot thank them enough for all the help and everything they have done for me this past year. However, after discussions with the Syco team we both felt it was the right time to move on."
The statement goes on to say that he has already begun work on his new album and is in discussions with new labels. You can read the full statement here.
Haenow's departure now means that Little Mix and 2015 champion Louisa Johnson are the only X-Factor winners still signed to Syco.
The singer's self-titled debut album was released in November and is available to preview and purchase on the right-hand side of the page.
