Beyonce, Adele, Drake lead 2017 Grammy nominations

Beyonce, Rihanna and Drake lead the nominations for this year's Grammy Awards.

The former Destiny's Child singer leads the way with a full nine nominations this year, just ahead of Drake, Rihanna and Kanye West, who all have eight apiece and Chance The Rapper, who has seven.

Beyonce's Lemonade will be the favourite in the Album Of The Year category, but will face stiff competition from Adele's 25, Justin Bieber's Purpose, Drake's Views and Sturgill Simpson's A Sailor's Guide To Earth.

The singer's hit 'Formation' is also up for Record Of The Year where she will do battle with Adele's 'Hello', Lukas Graham's '7 Years', Rihanna's 'Work' and Twenty One Pilots' 'Stressed Out'. It is likewise up for Song Of The Year, where she, Adele and Lukas Graham are up against Mike Posner's 'I Took A Pill In Ibiza' and Justin Bieber's 'Love Yourself'.
