Blink-182's Mark Hoppus writing with McBusted

McBusted have been writing songs with Blink-182 frontman Mark Hoppus, bassist Dougie Poynter has revealed.

The supergroup, which consists of McFly and two of the three members of Busted, joined forces for a hugely successful tour earlier this year and are now working on new material together.

Bassist Dougie Poynter revealed the news earlier today (August 26th), answering a question from a fan about their plans for the McBusted album, he wrote:

It had previously been revealed the band had been writing with All Time Low frontman Alex Gaskarth, who also tweeted his involvement in the record.

Gaskarth has previously written with 5 Seconds Of Summer, while Hoppus has previously written with the likes of All Time Low and Less Than Jake.

McBusted ended their tour with a show in London's Hyde Park earlier this summer and currently have no further gigs scheduled.
