Blur to headline Isle Of Wight Festival

Blur have joined The Prodigy and Fleetwood Mac in headlining this summer's Isle Of Wight Festival. 

The festival will see its opening day (June 12th) headlined by The Prodigy and The Black Keys, with Blur topping the bill on the Saturday night (June 13th) and Fleetwood Mac headlining its final day (June 14th). The event takes place from June 11th to June 14th next summer. 

Speaking about Blur's booking, Isle Of Wight Festival head honcho John Giddings: "I’m a huge fan of Blur and have always wanted to bring them to the Isle of Wight Festival so I’m really pleased we’ve finally done it! I know they’re going to blow the crowd away on the Saturday night – see you down the front!"

Also confirmed for the festival are Pharrell, Paolo Nutini, Kool And The Gang, Jessie Ware, You Me At Six, The Charlatans, James Bay, Imelda May, Suzanne Vega, Ash, Sharon Corr, Lightning Seeds, Geno Washington & the Ram Jam Band, The Courteeners, Foxes, James and many more acts.
