Boyzone to release Motown covers album Dublin To Detroit
Boyzone have announced that they will be a releasing a new album consisting entirely of covers of classic Motown songs.
The album, which is titled Dublin To Detroit, will be released on November 24th and consists of 11 tracks.
Among the tracks on the album are covers of classics by The Supremes, The Temptations and Marvin Gaye.
Speaking about the collection, the band said: "We feel very lucky to have been given the chance to record such an amazing collection of songs for our new 'Dublin To Detroit' album. We could easily have done eleven more great tracks from that era but we hope there's something for everyone in the choices we made. We now just can't wait for the chance to perform them live for all our great Boyzone fans around the world.”
