Calvin Harris named world's highest paid DJ for second year in a row
Calvin Harris has been revealed to be the world's highest earning DJ, picking up a cool $66 million in the past 12 months.
The Scottish DJ, who has scored massive hits over the last year with tracks like 'Under Control' and 'Summer', topped the list of high-earning DJs, which is compiled by Forbes Magazine.
David Guetta was second, but a long way behind Harris with earnings of $30 million, with Avicii and Tiesto joint third with $28 million and Steve Aoki in fifth with $23 million. Afrojack made $22 million to come sixth, with Zedd at Number with $21 million and Kaskade at Number Eight with $17 million.
Coming in ninth was dubstep hero Skrillex with $16.5 million, with Deadmau5 10th and Hardwell and Armin Van Buren in joint 11th.
The list takes into account earnings from live shows, merchandise, endorsements, record sales and "external business ventures", from June 1 2013 to June 1 2014. The top ten earners on the list have a combined total of $268 million, an increase of 11% on last year.
Harris gigs reguarly across the world and played more than 50 gigs at festivals and clubs in the last year.
