Chris Martin reveals the title of Coldplay's new album
Chris Martin has revealed that Coldplay are already back in the studio and working on a new album, an album that he has said will be titled A Head Full Of Dreams.
The indie foursome only released their sixth album Ghost Stories (which you can preview on the right of the page) in May, but the singer revealed that the band are already back at work on its follow-up.
Speaking on BBC Radio 1, the singer said when asked what the band were up to: "We haven't told anyone this, but we're making an album called A Head Full of Dreams. We're right in the middle of it. It's our seventh thing and we look at it as the last Harry Potter book or something like that."
He continued: "Not to say that there won't be another thing one day, but this is the completion of something. It was great to go from Ghost Stories right back in the studio. Now we're making things that sound different and it's a very fun time to be in our band. I have to think of it as the final thing that we're doing - otherwise, we wouldn't put everything into it. Then we'll go on tour."
The band toured sparingly in support of Ghost Stories, playing only a handful of UK and European dates and no festivals.
They released a new live album and DVD entitled Ghost Stories Live earlier this month.
