Dave Grohl, Beck, John Legend confirmed to play R&R Hall of Fame ceremony
Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl, Beck and recent Oscar winner John Legend have been confirmed to play at next month’s Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony.
Former Eagle Joe Walsh, Rage Against the Machine/Audioslave guitarist Tom Morello and Jimmie Vaughan are also confirmed.
The musical gang will assemble at Cleveland's Public Hall April 18th where Bill Withers, Ringo Starr, and the late Lou Reed will be inducted – respectively - by Stevie Wonder, Paul McCartney and Patti Smith.
Also joining the Hall of Fame ranks: Paul Butterfield Blues Band (inducted by Peter Wolf), Green Day (Fall Out Boy), Stevie Ray Vaughan (John Mayer) and the “5” Royales (Steve Cropper).
HBO carries the gala on May 30.
