Dolly Parton: "I would like to do a dance record"
Country legend Dolly Parton has revealed that she would like to record a dance album.
The singer, who wowed crowds at this year's Glastonbury Festival, said at a press conference last week that she would like to "do a dance record" and also that she hoped to release several songs that "are very positive towards the gay community" soon, reports Digital Spy.
She said: "At some point I would like to do a dance record and I have several songs that are very positive towards the gay community. I have a song called 'Just A Wee Bit Gay'. It's a great little dance tune, it's funny and it's got a lot of comic in it. I do write a lot of songs along those lines with people that are different and are just themselves."
Parton's European tour in support of her new album Blue Smoke (which you can hear on the right-hand side of the page) comes to an end in Switzerland tonight (July 14th).
