KISS have been strongly linked with a headline slot after bassist Gene Simmons tweeted a picture that showed his band as the festival's Sunday night headliners, with Enter Shikari, Slash and Motley Crue also on the bill. That line-up, however, has already been dismissed by organiser Andy Copping.
Download Festival will take place from June 12th to June 14th in 2015. The festival was headlined in 2014 by Avenged Sevenfold, Linkin Park and Aerosmith, with Bring Me The Horizon, Alter Bridge, Fall Out Boy, Within Temptation and Rob Zombie also playing major sets across the weekend.
