Drenge announce new album 'Undertow' and unveil new track
Derbyshire duo Drenge this week announced the title of their second album, to be named Undertow, and premiered the first new track from the follow-up to their self-titled 2013 debut LP.
In a statement posted on the band's Facebook page, they shared details on the upcoming LP, which is due to be released on April 6: "After 20 months of trotting the globe, we retired to McCall Sound Studios at the backend of last year to work on our second LP.
“We've got Ross Orton back in to produce and our childhood mate, Robert Graham, joins us for a couple of tracks on bass.
Revealing some of what we can expect in terms of lyrical content, the band said "The album is called Undertow and it's about love and loss but it's also about reservoirs and moors and a really great Arabic cafe near the studio.”
The band also performed the new track in an appearance on The David Letterman Show last night. You can watch a video of their performance below…
