Ed Sheeran's x sells two million copies in the UK
Ed Sheeran's second album x has now sold over two million copies in the UK.
The album, which you can preview on the right-hand side of the page, was released in June last year and has just taken 38 weeks to pass sales of two million.
Sheeran becomes only the fifth artist this decade to pass the milestone of two million sales, he joins Adele, Emeli Sande, Take That and Michael Bublé, who've all previously achieved the number.
Speaking about the milestone, Sheeran, who is currently on tour in Australia, said: "So chuffed to hear x has just hit the 2 million mark in the UK! Looking forward to getting back there for my Wembley shows in July and celebrating with you all."
x is now the fifth biggest selling album of this decade and is one of only 39 albums to have sold more than two millions copies since the year 2000. It has spent 12 weeks at Number One.
Sheeran finishes his tour in support of the album with three shows at Wembley Stadium in July, click here to find out full ticket details.
