Elbow announce UK theatre tour for February 2015
Elbow have announced a short run of shows for next year, calling it a "theatre tour".
The Manchester fivesome, who released their sixth studio album The Take Off And Landing Of Everything (which you can preview on the right-hand side of the page) in February of this year, will play six shows on the tour, three in London, three in Manchester.
The band will play three shows at Manchester's O2 Apollo on February 5th, 6th and 7th, before moving onto London's Hammersmith Apollo on February 10th, 11th and 12th.
Speaking about the tour, frontman Guy Garvey said: "We enjoyed our theatre tour of the States and Canada this summer so much that we decided to do some at home. There is something magic about the history of old theatres and doing residencies in these lovely buildings means we can be playful with the staging."
He continued: "Also the band often discuss how great it would be to play older and rarer songs of ours alongside the ones we are best known for. We are also hoping for a range of excellent guests and are really excited about these shows."
Tickets go onsale tomorrow (September 3rd) at 9am, you can find full details here.
