Every Wednesday we recommend a brand new artist who we think you're going to love. This week we bring you Brawlers, a raucous mob formed from the ashes of Dinosaur Pile-Up, Leftover Crack and Castrovalva…

Who Are They?

Brawlers came together in the summer of 2013, up in Leeds, from the ashes of grungey rockers Dinosaur Pile-Up, punks Leftover Crack and also-rans Castrovalva. Since then they’ve played up and down the country and released a firebrand EP named ‘I Am A Worthless Piece Of Shit’, which you can preview on the right of the page.

Who Do They Sound Like?

This is raw, bouncy, punk with sugary blasts for choruses, think early Ramones, Buzzcocks, but with the nasty edges of Minor Threat and Refused in the mix along with the bounce of Green Day and New Found Glory.

Why Should I Be Excited?

Their live shows are insanely brilliant and their songs are so much fun. That’s as good as it gets for new bands right?

Can I Hear Something?

You certainly can! The whole EP is previewable on the right of the page.
