hmv's Next Big Thing... #11 Nai Harvest

Every Wednesday we recommend a brand new artist who we think you're going to love. This week we bring you feedback drenched Sheffield slacker punks Nai Harvest...

Who Are They?

Nai Harvest are vocalist/guitarist Ben Thompson and drummer Lew Currie, they hail from the Steel City and they've been touring, gigging and releasing short blasts of red hot slacker punk for the last few years.

Who Do They Sound Like?

They take their cues from the greats of alt-rock and punk, so there's plenty of Nirvana, Sonic Youth and Pixies in there, but there's a fair chunk of Ramones,  a dollop of Green Day and a slathering of Weezer's ear for a monster chorus.

Why Should I Be Excited?

Their songs demand to be bounced along to a dirty basement and then sung loudly all the way home.

Can I Hear Something?

Of course. You can hear their ace new single 'Sick On My Heart' below. The band's debut album Hairball will be released on April 28th.
