hmv's Next Big Thing... #18 Milk Teeth

Every Wednesday we recommend a brand new artist who we think you're going to love. This week we bring you warm-hearted power-poppers Milk Teeth...

Who Are They?

Milk Teeth hail from Bristol (well Stroud to be precise) and have been gigging across the UK since last year. They've peppered the interweb some fine tracks and have just inked a deal with Hopeless Records, home of All Time Low, New Found Glory and Neck Deep.

Who Do They Sound Like?

Milk Teeth owe a great debt to grunge flecked guitar rock of the early 1990s, think Veruca Salt, Biki Kill, vintage Sonic Youth, but that's a punch and a purpose to their songs, with plenty of Ramones, The Replacements and Weezer in there too.

Why Should I Be Excited?

They make incredible warm-hearted songs and they're great live. That's enough right?

Can I Hear Something?

Of course. 'Melon Blade' is below for you and you can pick up their latest EP Sad Sack here.
