Who Are They?

Orchards arrive from the South Coast, Brighton specifically, and consist of guitarist Sam Rushton, bassist Dan Fane, drummer Will Lee-Lewis and singer Lucy Evers. Newly signed up to uber cool indie label Big Scary Monsters, they've just dropped a brand new set of tracks and are enjoying a summer full of festivals...

 

What Do They Sound Like?

Take the ramshackle power of Sleater Kinney, the intricacy of Vampire Weekend and the powerpop choruses of Paramore, that's Orchards. 

 

Why Should I Be Excited?

Powerful melodies, discordant charm and brilliant harmonies, it's a heady brew indeed.
