hmv's Next Big Thing... #192 Zuzu

Every Wednesday we recommend a brand new artist who we think you're going to love. This week we bring you quirky Scouse songstress Zuzu...

Who Is She?

Zuzu is a singer-songwriter from Liverpool. After two years of relentless gigging and some excellent singles, she's now signed to Virgin EMI and has just dropped her debut EP Made On Earth By Humans. Now her attention will move towards a full-length effort.

In recent times she's been out with both Blossoms and Tom Grennan and will be touring with Manchester arena fillers The Courteeners in the coming weeks.

What Does She Sound Like?

Take the stripped back grooves of vintage Pavement, the melodic swagger of The Coral and the lyrical bite of 90s PJ Harvey and you've got Zuzu.

Why Should I Be Excited?

Because her songs are jagged, fuzzy gems full of magic and malice.

Can I Hear Something?

Absolutely, her new jam 'All Good' is below for you:
