hmv's Next Big Thing... #197 Neurotic Fiction

Every Wednesday we recommend a brand new artist who we think you're going to love. This week we bring you Bristol indie types Neurotic Fiction...

Who Are They?

Neurotic Fiction have emerged out of the ashes of much-loved alt-punk bands Twisted, The Fairweather Band and Some Sort of Threat to form a new collective.

For their debut album, which is due later this year, they're now shacked up with Specialist Subject, the record label that's home to Great Cynics and the excellent Muncie Girls.

Neurotic Fiction merge Pavement's angular grooves, Elastica's elegant flair for melody and the eccentric edges of Deerhoof.

Why Should I Be Excited?
