hmv's Next Big Thing... #215 Crows

Every Wednesday we recommend a brand new artist who we think you're going to love. This week we bring you fearsome foursome Crows...

Who Are They?

Crows are North London boys and consist of singer James Cox, guitarist Steve Goddard, bassist Jith Amarasinghe and drummer Laurence Rushworth.

Over the last two years, the band have toured with Wolf Alice, Slaves and METZ put out a series of searing singles. That earned them the attention of firebrands IDLES and a record deal with Balley Records, the label co-owned by IDLES frontman Joe Talbot and manager Mark Bent.

Their debut album Silver Tongues is now out and picking up rave reviews.

Crows meld the sludgy power of early Queens Of The Stone Age with the drive of Refused and the energy of Gallows.
