hmv's Next Big Thing... #73 Let's Eat Grandma
Every Wednesday we recommend a brand new artist who we think you're going to love. This week we bring you pop oddballs Let's Eat Grandma...
Who Are They?
Let's Eat Grandma are 17-year olds Rosa Walton and Jenny Hollingworth. They hail from Norwich, they've been making music together since they were 13 and they've produced a collection of some of the strangest and most hynotic pop songs you'll have heard in a long time.
Who Do They Sound Like?
They've got the witchy grooves of Black Sabbath slung in there, but the most obvious influences are Kate Bush and Bat For Lashes.
Why Should I Be Excited?
Because their songs are groove-filled and downright odd. Following these two is going to be fascinating...
Can I Hear Something?
Certainly. You can hear their new single 'Eat Shiitake Mushrooms' bellow and get their early singles here in our digital store.
