Hot Chocolate singer Errol Brown dies aged 71
Singer Errol Brown, best known as the frontman of soul act Hot Chocolate, has died at the age of 71.
Brown, who had been suffering from liver cancer, passed away peacefully at his home in the Bahamas, his manager Phil Dale has revealed.
Hot Chocolate were one of soul music's biggest bands of the 1970s and 1980s and had hits which included 'Everyone's A Winner', 'It Started With a Kiss' and 'You Sexy Thing'.
Brown was honoured with numerous plaudits throughout his career, including an MBE in 2003 and an Ivor Novello award in 2004 to recognise his outstanding contribution to music. He last toured in 2009.
