James Arthur, winner of The X-Factor in 2012, has announced that he has signed a new record deal and will be releasing his second album in 2016.
The singer parted ways with Simon Cowell's SyCo in June of last year after being embroiled in a number of online controversies and has since taken some time away from the spotlight.
Now though Arthur has confirmed that he has signed a deal with Columbia Records and will be releasing the follow-up to his self-titled debut album next year.
