The pop-rockers return with their seventh full-length effort in the middle of next month. 

Recorded over five weeks at Karma Sound studio in Thailand's Bang Saray, the album sees the band working once again with Biffy Clyro/Twin Atlantic producer Dan Austin. 

SUCKAPUNCH finds the band moving away from their traditional influences, with electronics and R&B influences now a key part of their sound, as you can hear on the LP's title track below...

 

Arlo Parks - Collapsed In Sunbeams

The graceful songstress unveils her debut album at the end of next month. 

Written and recorded with long-time producer Gianluca Buccellati, the album was made in a series of different London Air BnBs rather than a conventional studio set-up. 

Featuring a collaboration with Clairo, the album is billed by the singer as "...a series of vignettes and intimate portraits surrounding my adolescence and the people that shaped it". 

 

Lonely The Brave - The Hope List

The heartswelling rockers return next month with their third LP and their first since 2016's Things Will Matter. 

The album is the band's first with new frontman Jack Bennett, who joined the group after the departure of their original frontman David Jakes in 2018. 

Produced by Bennett, the album might mark a change in personnel and a new start on Sony imprint Easy Life Records, but it keeps the band's epic sound firmly intact. 

 

Sleaford Mods - Spare Ribs

The bolshy duo return with album number six in the midst of next month. 

The record, which was made in a three-week period in the pair's hometown of Nottingham, includes collaborations with Amy Taylor of Melbourne punks Amyl and the Sniffers and British newcomer Billy Nomates. 

Heavily inspired by the pandemic, the band have revealed that the album’s title was inspired by “the idea of the amount of people that died from the first wave of Covid-19 human lives are always expendable to the elites…. We’re in a constant state of being spare ribs.”

 

Passenger - Songs for the Drunk and Broken Hearted

The troubadour returns with his 13th studio LP next month. 

The singer recorded the LP pre-coronavirus at his Black Crow Studios in his hometown of Brighton, the singer has revealed the album was created after the breakdown of a long-term relationship.

The post-punks roar back with a second album, produced by Arctic Monkeys/Jessie Ware knob-twiddler James Ford. 

Powerful, raw and visceral, but packed with big hooks, the album looks set to push the band into bigger venues and right up festival bills.
