Katy Perry confirmed to headline Superbowl 2015 half-time show
Katy Perry has been confirmed to be the headline act during next year's Superbowl half-time show.
The singer, who is currently in the middle of an extensive world tour in support of her new album PRISM (which you can preview on the right of the page), was announced as the headliner during the NFL's regular Sunday Night Football game between the Dallas Cowboys and New York Giants in a new promo, which you can see below.
Last year's half-time show saw both Bruno Mars and Red Hot Chili Peppers perform to a worldwide audience of over 115 million people, while in past years the likes of Madonna, Nicki Minaj, The Rolling Stones and Beyonce have headlined the performance.
The Superbowl, or Superbowl XLIX as it will be known next year, will take place on February 1st in Glendale at the University of Phoenix Stadium in Arizona.
