Katy Perry joined by Missy Elliott for spectacular Super Bowl half-time show
Katy Perry was joined by Missy Elliott and Lenny Kravitz as she unleashed a spectacular performance during the half-time break at this year's Super Bowl.
The show consisted of nine songs, beginning with her hit singles 'Roar' and 'Dark Horse' from her 2013 album PRISM (which you can preview on the right-hand side of the page), before moving on to early hit 'I Kissed A Girl', which saw her joined by Kravitz.
Perry then performed 'Teenage Dream' and 'California Gurls' before she was joined by Missy Elliott. Together they performed 'Get Ur Freak On' before Perry left Elliott to play 'Work It' and 'Lose Control' by herself. Perry then returned to close the show with 'Firework', which she performed on a harness which flew around the stadium.
The singer worked her way through four costume changes and a series of spectacular set pieces, she began the set astride a giant, anamatronic lion and was joined for a number of tracks by a group of dancers dressed up as sharks and beach balls.
Advertising slots during last night's Super Bowl cost an estimated $4.5 million per 30 seconds. In the game itself, the New England Patriots defeated the Seattle Seahawks by 28 points to 24.
