Led Zeppelin confirm full details of reissues of Led Zeppelin IV and Houses of the Holy
Led Zeppelin have confirmed full details of the reissues for their fourth and fifth albums Led Zeppelin IV and Houses Of The Holy.
The legendary rockers, who released exhaustive reissues of their first three albums earlier this year, will re-release their fourth and fifth LPs on October 27th, with the releases coming a day later in the US.
As with their earlier reissues, each reissue will include the original LP, newly remastered by guitarist and producer Jimmy Page, alongside a second disc of previously unreleased audio culled from the band members' own vaults. Additionally, each release will also be available as a single album, a single vinyl LP, a deluxe double-LP, digital download and a super deluxe box set.
The super deluxe box set will include the CDs, LPs, a download card, an 80-page hardback book with many previously unseen photos, memorabilia and a high-quality print of the album cover.
As part of the reissues, fans will be able to hear the fabled, alternate version of 'Stairway To Heaven', mixed at the Sunset Sound Studio in Los Angeles. A statement from the band's label promises to "let fans hear one of the most revered songs of all time as they have never heard it before.”
